We the participants would like to thank Dr. Rick Mathisen, Program Chair of the AMTP 2011 (Association of Marketing Theory and Practice) Conference for facilitating an extraordinary meeting. Not only were we afforded the opportunity to learn from Dr. Arch Woodside, but also his esteemed colleague Dr. Joe Hair in an SEM Seminar.
While Dr. Arch Woodside and Dr. Joe Hair are icons in their fields, both men were extraordinarily generous with their time in explaining their respective research methodologies and passionate about assisting the professional development of all AMTP participants.
The Magic of AMTP is not a hyperbolic marketing slogan. For during this conference, ideas and scholarly inquiries were shared amongst both seasoned and emerging scholars, and great camaraderie and friendships were developed. These are already leading to the creation of collaborative research efforts which will contribute to the academy and the advancement of knowledge.
