The goal of this http://www.fuzzysetqca.com/ website is to serve as a repository for all matters of fuzzy set/ Qualitative Comparative Analysis research, and specifically to assist the AMTP participants in the development of a productive stream of research ultimately leading to publication in the JBR.
We the participants of this Blog were afforded the unique opportunity to learn from Dr. Arch Woodside of Boston College a new, cutting edge analytic technique called fs/QCA or fuzzy set/Qualitative Comparative Analysis at the AMTP 2011 Conference (Association of Marketing Theory and Practice) in Panama City Beach Florida from March 24th - March 26th, 2011.
As an outcome and extension of this workshop, Dr. Woodside has gracioulsy invited us to develop papers using fs/QCA for publicatrion in a forthcoming Special Issue of the JBR - Journal of Business Research of which he is the Editor.
Projects include a collaborative effort between Dr. Charles Richardson of Clark Atlanta University and Dr. Mark Lennon of Frostburg State University in the analysis of World Bank data from their report on "Doing Business" around the globe and identifying the antecedents and resultant impact on growth in national GDP's. Other projects underway include an examination of Road Rage and its contributory factors.
